What Is Wiki For Us?
Wiki For Us is a collection of web pages about people. It's like an encyclopedia, except you can read about normal people, like you and me.
How is this different from other websites about people ( Wikipedia or MySpace )?
- On Wikipedia, only famous people can have a page. Anybody can have one here.
- On MySpace, only you can edit your profile. Anybody can add to your page here.
- You can write anything you want about anybody you want.
Who created Wiki For Us and Why?
Wiki For Us was created by Alex Poon and Brian Park because we wanted a better way to learn about our friends.
We don't need another site to tell us that our friends like Coldplay, Pulp Fiction, and The Catcher In The Rye.
Instead, we wanted to hear about their childhoods, their acheivements, their goals, and even what their friends think of them.
We've learned a lot about ourselves and our friends by using the site and we hope you do too.
